Brief Description:  Left aft fuselage skin

Cut the rudder cable hole in the F21-01L left aft skin. Located the hole according to F01-05L as directed by rev dtd 1/14/12. Used a Unibit to up-drill to the 1/2" at the ends, then used a scoring tool to cut grooves tangent to the end holes. Scored both sides. A little flexing and the center piece pops right out. Need to be careful when scoring that the tool doesn't slip into the good material beyond the tangent. I found drawing the tool toward the hole along a straight edge, with the hole on the exposed side, works best.

Bent the forward and aft ends of the left aft skin at the required 8 degrees using a Harbor Freight 18" bending brake.

Honed the ID of the strut bushings for a looser fit since it needs to ride up/down the strut. Drilled and tapped the strut/bushings for 10-32 screw. Installed a 10-32 set screw with Locktite. The strut moves and turns in the bushings with a firm fit. It's a bit firm, but I expect it will loosen with use.

Did a trial fit of the L02-12 nose gear mount to the engine mount. It will be a struggle since the nose gear mount holes that attach to the top engine mount holes are about 5/32" too wide. The gear mount legs are short and stubby here, so some heat may be required to force the mount into alignment.
